Casa Colima in Vancouver, WA, is a quintessential destination for lovers of authentic Mexican cuisine. Customers rave about the "best chicken mole enchiladas ever," complemented by an abundance of free chips and salsa that many describe as mouthwatering. The vibrant and warm atmosphere, adorned with rich Hispanic art, enhances the dining experience, making it a feast for both the palate and the eyes.
Patrons consistently highlight the generous portion sizes, with a harmonious blend of flavors that reverberate through dishes like the fajita burritos and shrimp fajitas. One customer recalls how the table-side guacamole is a must-try, bursting with freshness and zest. Many diners, including those accustomed to authentic Mexican food from areas like Los Angeles, find Casa Colima's offerings to be nothing short of phenomenal. The enthusiasm from the staff, while sometimes uneven in service, adds a friendly touch.
In summary, at Casa Colima, the commitment to quality and authenticity shines. While some may note the price range of $17 to $26 per entrée as slightly high for lunch, the overall joy and satisfaction derived from the delicious meals make it worth every penny. Best chicken mole enchiladas ever! The free chips and salsa kept coming, very good salsa by the way. The fajita burrito was huge and my son had to take home the left overs. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and rich in Hispanic art/craftsmanship. The service was good but not excellent. My only complaint was the cost, 17-26 per entree at lunchtime.

Very friendly staff. The restaurant is very clean. The food comes out quick. They make fresh guacamole at your table. The fresh margaritas are excellent.

Great atmosphere, great service and PHENOMENAL food!! I’m from LA and grew up on authentic Mexican food. This is legit, delicious and authentic Mexican food. Huge portions and I couldn’t even eat half of it. But so happy to have leftovers to prolong the delicious experience. I only wish we had time to dine in as the decor and ambience are so fun and festive! Thank you Lupita! You are amazing!

We were feeling a little zesty tonight so we had to come to one of our favorite restaurants “Casa Colima.” Once we were seated, we had to order the glorious table side guacamole- chunky, of course!! We told her to throw everything in there with some spicy spice. It was so scrumptious, I will probably dream about it tonight. Worth every penny. And if the guac wasn’t zesty enough, the fajitas definitely were. I don’t even need a menu; I already know I’m ordering the shrimp fajitas every time. They are so tender and marinated to perfection. Tastes like they got abuela back there whipping up the dishes. The carne asada fajitas - juicy, tender, melt in your mouth, cuts like butter. I don’t know what they do, but it tastes so, so good.

First time here. They get 5 stars all around. So yummy. All so fresh. Ask for guacamole dip, and they make it fresh right at your table and so good. We had taco salad and chimichanga with rice and beans and two long islands. The long islands weren't weak by no means. The drinks were perfect, and there taco meat was flavorful. The refried beans had the best flavor I have ever tasted. You must try it. They have a nice atmosphere to the place. Thank you. We will be back.

So I went with my buddy to try this place and it was so good. The restaurant's interior was so colorful and the staff was so friendly . It was a great atmosphere to be in and eat some good food. They have table side guacamole that is delicious. I got a carnitas enchilada that was big enough for two separate meals and it was packed full of flavor. I also got a house margarita and that thing was strong but delicious. The service was great , we literally sat down and got chips immediately. The servers were so friendly and got us anything we needed. I recommend this place, you will enjoy it.

Solid neighborhood Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. Food is very good. The steak fajitas are great. During happy hour you can order three tacos for 10. They're very small but it's a decent value. The staff are super helpful. Drinks: The only sweet vermouth is Lejon and even worse it is not refrigerated. Stick to margaritas, but they're pricey...and sour. I like them at Los Portillos much better and for a lot less . Having said that, the chow at Casa Colima is better. PRO TIP: They use a mix brand called "Old Recipe" which is vert tart. Quality control your margarita to not be as sour. by ordering a Cadillac. A proper Cadillac has a shot of Grand Mariner added. But being made in France, a 750 ml bottle retail is currently 38. Casa Colima uses a cheap substitute. The mix is so sour that a shot of the orange liqueur is too small to compensate. So have the bartender give you a shot of triple sec as well. This will make it more balanced. There's no mention of it on their website and I wasn't able to find any photos of the happy hour menu. So I photographed the elusive, mythological menu and added it here. PRO TIP: If you like spicy ask for their habanero sauce. Ample parking in the strip mall.
